Eleanor Sikirica Obituary
SIKIRICA – Eleanor G., 91, of Johnstown died June 10, 2019, at Windber Hospice. Born January 31, 1928, the daughter of Andrew and Anna (Vahaly) Hrizak. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Nicholas T. Sikirica; sisters: Dorothy Pulyer; Mary Magyar; Helen Sroba; Margaret Sasarak; Veronica Costic; Agnes Obarsky; and Irene Stasko; and brothers: Andrew, John and Joseph Hrizak. Survived by sons: Donald, Johnstown; Eugene, Houston, TX; and Conrad, married to Tammy (Blough), Johnstown; grandchildren: Kelly (Nate), Tim (Agata), and Michael; and great-grandchildren: Mila, Colton and Alise. Eleanor was an avid Pittsburgh Sports and WWE Wrestling Fan. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Fr. Bernard Karmanocky, O.F.M. Committal at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Therese Catholic Church, Windber Hospice, or the Cambria County Humane Society, in memory of Eleanor.
