YODER – Franklin C. Yoder Sr., 71, of Johnstown passed away January 2, 2018 at his home.  Born July 24, 1946, in Johnstown the son of Dorothy Yoder. Preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Michael Alberter, Sr.; wife, Gloria (Freeman) Yoder; son, Franklin C. Yoder Jr., brother, Harry Lee Alberter; and sister-in-law, Carol Alberter. Survived by daughter, Renée Dasch, Johnstown. Brother of: Mary Varner; Paulette Nelson and boyfriend, George; Sally (George) Wos; Mike Alberter, Jr.; Roberta Alberter, all of Johnstown; and Helen (Bob) Varner, Steelton, PA.  Franklin was a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam War; life member of the DAV; and a member of the American Legion.
