Marie (Dayoob) Hyde

HYDE – Marie, 90, of Johnstown, died February 14, 2018, at Cambria Care Center. Born May 11, 1927, in Everson, PA the daughter of Alex and Alice (Nassar) Dayoob. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas C. Hyde; brothers: George, John, Abraham, and Edward Dayoob; and sisters: Adele Adams, Genevieve Salamone; and Rose Begonia. She is survived by brothers: James Dayoob, Scottdale, PA; and Richard Dayoob, Chandler, AZ; sisters: Betty Adkins, Albuquerque, NM;  and Helen Eicher, Camarillo, CA; niece and caretaker, Patty (Ed) Gregorchik; and numerous nieces and nephews. Marie was a member of St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church. Friends will be received from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where the Very Rev. Fr. Donald Shadid will hold Trisagion Prayers of Mercy at 4 p.m. Trisagion Prayers of Mercy will also be held 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home followed by funeral service at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 111 Alberta Avenue. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be directed to the St. Mary Special Projects Fund, 111 Alberta Avenue, Johnstown 15905, in memory of Marie.
