POLIPPO – Paul, 88, of Johnstown was called to his Heavenly place of rest February 7, 2018, at Westmont Woods Nursing Care Center. Born September 30, 1929, in Johnstown the son of John and Katherine (Stfarik) Polippo. Preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Dolores Jean (Sedlmyer) Polippo; second wife, Darlene (Keener) Polippo; son, Paul Mark Polippo; great-grandchildren: Krista LeAnne Polippo and Anthony Mark Polippo; brothers: Charles and Michael; and sisters: Katherine, Ann, Rose and Marie. He is survived by his children: Pamela Marie Polippo; Frank Anthony Polippo; and LeAnne Polippo; stepdaughters, Nancy and Sue; grandchildren, Megan Wurtz; and Grant Polippo; great-grandchildren: Jameson and Jonathan; brother, John; and sister, Nancy. Paul was a US Army Veteran of the Korean War and retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp. Paul enjoyed yard work and gardening, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Neighbors referred to him as "St. Francis", because he always fed the animals. Family and friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street, Pastor Randy Knupp officiating. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial.
