BOMBATCH – Rita Marie, 92, of Johnstown died January 12, 2018 at the Allegheny Lutheran Home. Born April 19, 1925, in Johnstown the daughter of John and Suzanne (Kolcun) Zahoranski. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph Bombatch; and brother, Wilfred Zahoranski. She is survived by her children: Kathleen, wife of Samuel Coco; David Bombatch; Suzanne, wife of Anthony Ramirez; and Rita Joann, wife of Michael Bladek; grandchildren, Matthew (Marieann) Ramirez; Heather Bladek; John (Nicole) Bladek; great grandchildren: Aiden and Ava Ramirez; brother, Herbert Hill of New Castle, PA and sister, Elizabeth Virus, of Johnstown.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. After graduating she was employed with Penn Traffic then Sears Credit Department, until she was married.  A member of St. Therese Catholic Church; she loved her church where she volunteered making pierogis, selling chances at the festival and was a member of the Christian Mothers Club. Private services are in the care of the FRANCIS G. OZOG FUNERAL HOME, Inc., with private committal at Grandview Mausoleum, Fr. Bernard Karmanocky officiating. A memorial Mass will be held at a later date.  The family would like to thank the staff of Interim Hospice and the Allegheny Lutheran Home for the kind and loving care they gave to Rita.
