Robert M. Sestrich

SESTRICH – Robert M., 61, of Johnstown died March 5, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center and is finally at peace after a long illness. Born October 7, 1956, in Johnstown the son of Anthony M. and Elizabeth “Betty” (Hodos) Sestrich. Preceded in death by his brother-in-law, William Konar. He is survived by his parents; son, Nathan R., married to Connie Hollern; brother, Anthony, married to Audrey Erb; sister, Elizabeth “Betsy” Konar, and life partner John Plummer; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was retired from North American Hoganas and was a member of Benshoff Hill Rod and Gun Club; and Minersville PNA. He enjoyed deep-sea fishing at the Outer Banks, going to his hunting camp in Sheffield, PA and was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler and Penguins fan. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad St. where vigil service will be held.
