PETRORE – Sue Ann, 83, of Johnstown died January 17, 2018, at Westmont Woods Nursing Home. Born January 18, 1934, in Johnstown the daughter of Salvatore and Rose (Gabriele) Popolo, Sr. Preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Thomas P. Petrore, Sr. Survived by her loving children: Anthony, married to Karen (Skelly); and Thomas, Jr., married to Suzanne (Sims); granddaughter, Leah; sisters: Phyllis Plachy; and JoAnn Charlton; and brother, Salvatore Popolo, Jr. Sue Ann was an Employee of the former Peerless Shoe Store and long-time employee at Punky’s Pizza. Was a great cook specializing in Italian food made from scratch. She was an avid shopper who could tell you where the best bargains were in town. She was a selflessly devoted mother and grandmother that would do anything for anyone, especially her family. The family would like to thank the staff of Westmont Woods Nursing Home, Memorial Medical Center and Drs. Shriram Sirsikar and Ballasson Maharajh for the loving care they gave to Sue Ann. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the FRANCIS G. OZOG FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 710 Broad St. where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Therese Catholic Church, 536 Decker Ave.,  Fr. Bernard Karmanocky, O.F.M. Committal will take place at St. Anthony Cemetery.
