Bernard "Bernie" Krcha

KRCHA - Bernard “Bernie”, 87; Johnstown, passed away June 15, 2018 at home.  Born August 20, 1931 in Johnstown, son of John and Josephine (Drugo) Krcha.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, Ann F. (Tkac) Krcha; brothers John Karcha and Richard Krcha and beloved pet cat, “Snoopy”.   Last survivor of his immediate family.  Survived by loving children, Thomas married to the former Barbara Myers, Richland Twp., and Sandra Krcha of Johnstown. Also survived by granddaughter Trista Krcha and numerous nieces and nephews.  Retired District Manager for Rite Aid Corporation. Bernie was past president of Johnstown Kiwanis's Club and was a former Sea Scout earning his rank to Eagle Scout.  A member of Visitation BVM Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society in his memory. Condolences may be sent at fgozogfuneralhome.com.
