Bertha (Skubak) Morihlatko

MORIHLATKO - Bertha, 93, of Batavia, IL and formerly of Johnstown, PA passed away Monday, December 2, 2019 at DuPage Care Center in Wheaton, IL.  She was born March 3, 1926, in Johnstown, PA the daughter of John and Mary (Milchak) Skubak, Sr.  She was united in marriage to John M. Morihlatko in Johnstown, PA.  Bertha was employed at Bestform in Johnstown for many years.  She was an active member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Johnstown.   She is survived by her three children, Bobbie (Tom) Von Lunen, John (Cathy Halapia) Morihlatko and Barry (Kelly Stewart) Morihlatko; six grandchildren, J.T. (Karen) Von Lunen, Mike (Annie) Von Lunen, Laura (Tim) Burns, Beth (Matt) Bowman, John (Jenna) Morihlatko, and Christopher (Erin) Morihlatko; six great-grandchildren; a brother Francis “Skuby” (Fran) Skubak and a sister Betty Ann Wilfong.   In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband John; a brother John Skubak, and two sisters, Mary Lou Kristoff and Paula Kisko.  Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Friday, December 6, 2019 at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street Johnstown, PA 15906.  Funeral services will begin with prayers 9:30 A.M. Saturday, December 7, 2019 at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home before processing to Resurrection Catholic Church, Johnstown, PA, to celebrate Mass at 10:00 A.M. Committal will be in Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown, PA.   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to DuPage Care Center Recreation 400 North County Farm Road Wheaton, IL 60187 or Elder Day Center, 322 W. Wilson Street, Batavia, IL 60513.
