Betty Gvozdich

GVOZDICH - Betty 89; Johnstown, passed away November 28, 2018 at Cambria Care Center.  Born May 23, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of Milos and Stana (Brkovich) Popovich.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Eli Gvozdich; and sister, Kathleen “Toots” and husband, George “Fritz” Holtzman.  Survived by loving daughters, Cheryl married to Steven Jones, Charleston, WV; Patti Gvozdich, Alexandria, VA; and Lynne Hood, Johnstown, PA.  Also survived by grandchildren, Emily and Connor Jones.  The family would like to thank the Personal Care Unit at the Allegheny Lutheran Home and to the 4th Floor Staff at Cambria Care Center, for the loving care they provided in her final days.  Betty is a member of SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church, where Funeral Service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Mark Phillips.  Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Allegheny Lutheran Social Ministries, Johnstown Campus, in memory of Betty Gvozdich.  Condolences may be sent at fgozogfuneralhome.com
