Carlos E. Garcia

GARCIA - Carlos E., 62; Richland Twp., passed away at home on May 31, 2018.  Born October 19, 1955 in Laredo, TX; son of Daniel H. Sr. and Leonor (Dimas) Garcia.  Preceded in death by parents.  He is survived by loving wife, Emily Medic Garcia, Richland Twp.; daughter, Laura Garcia and son-in-law Sunny Desai, Frederick, MD; and daughter Gabrielle Garcia, at Duquesne University.  Brother of Daniel H. Garcia Jr. and wife, Elsie M. of Laredo, TX and Arturo Garcia and wife, Herlinda A., of Houston, TX.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  Carlos was a Speech Language Pathologist for Conemaugh Health Systems and a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association.  He was also a member of the S.N.F. and St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, where he was a Sunday School Teacher and choir member.  An avid tennis player, he was a member of the GJTA and USTA.  Friends received Thursday June 14th from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street where Pomen will be held at 7 p.m.  At the funeral home, a brief service will be held Friday June 15th at 9:30 a.m. followed by funeral service at 10:00 a.m. at St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church, the Rev. Fr. Milan Dragovic.  Committal will take place in Irwin Union Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.  Condolences may be sent online at fgozogfuneralhome.com
