Dorothy D. (Spisak) Sutton

SUTTON – Dorothy D., 89, of Johnstown died July 2, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born March 28, 1929, in Johnstown the daughter of the late George and Anna (Sinchak) Spishak. Preceded in death by her loving husband of 34 years, Richard J Sutton who passed away November 29, 1986; brother, George Spishak and sister, Louise Zubal. Survived by her daughter, Elaine, wife of Mark Czyrnik; son, Richard married to Lana (Thompson); and grandchildren: Travis Czyrnik married to Nicole (Tomaskovich); Justin Czyrnik married to Joyce (Waterhouse); Kaitlyn Czyrnik; William Sutton married to Melissa (Mong); Emily (Sutton) married to Kyle Lucas; and Anita (Thompson) married to James Madsen; and great-grandchildren: Gavin, Riley, Austin; Alexis; Alyson; Brooke; and Jaci. Dorothy was a former employee of Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, GTE, and Sani-Dairy. She was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church where she sang in the funeral choir and was the secretary for the choir’s social groups; a volunteer at St. Clement School for 12 ½ years reading weekly to children in K – 3rd grades; and a volunteer at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center’s RICN when needed. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Red Birds of Paradise. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Clement Catholic Church, Fr. William Rosenbaum. Committal at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to St. Clement Church in memory of Dorothy.
