MISH - Edward A. Sr., 92; Brownstown Boro., passed away December 28, 2018 at Conemaugh Hospital. Born September 6, 1926 in Johnstown, son of Alexander B. and Mary S. (Grata) Mish. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Josephine Mish and brother Stanley Mish. Survived by loving wife, of 54 years, Judith (Bowers) Mish of Brownstown Boro; and children, Mary Helen Roberts (Keith) and Edward A. Mish Jr. (Saundra Lashinsky). Also survived by grandchildren, Mitch Roberts, Mariah Roberts Hicks (Jeremy), Christian Roberts, Sarah Beth Mish and Edward Mish III. Edward was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from Ferndale High School Class of 1946, Graduated from I.U.P. and received his Masters from the University of Pittsburgh. Retired Teacher with 28 years of service for the Blairsville-Saltsburg School District. Former salesman for Spangler Subaru and Fuller Brush Man. He was a council member for Brownstown Borough, and 3rd Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus 4604 Council. A member of Resurrection Parish, where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, the Rev. George M. Gulash. Committal will be at Grandview Cemetery.
