Frances E. Rosenberger

ROSENBERGER - Frances, 88; Brownstown Boro., passed away, September 19, 2018 at Richland Woods Assisted Living Center.  Born July 15, 1930 in Johnstown; daughter of Phillip and Alice (Elliott) Abele.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Walter F. Rosenberger; and brother, Marvin Abele.  Survived by loving children, Mark and wife Diane, Seattle, WA; Roger and wife Lisa, Fairfax, VA; Glenn and wife Donna, Fort Worth, TX; Wayne Rosenberger, Johnstown; and Lynn married to Robert Rhine, Johnstown.  Also survived by grandchildren, Melissa, Kristen, Michael, Andrew, Michelle, Janelle, Matthew, Maria and Amanda; and great grandchildren, Avery, Rilyn and Lilly. Fran was valedictorian at Johnstown Catholic High School (McCort), Class of 1948.  She graduated from  Mercy School of Nursing and had 40 years of employment at Mercy Hospital as a registered nurse.  She loved to travel and take cruises, and had visited numerous countries on five different continents.  Fran loved to cook and bake, especially for the holidays and large family gatherings. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandchildren. A member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Brownstown, where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly, VF. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery. Friends received Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Broad Street.
