Gary J. Draksler

DRAKSLER – Gary J., 64, Johnstown, was welcomed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior reuniting with his parents on February 17, 2019. Born February 17, 1955, in Johnstown the son of Felix and Rose (Benchina) Draksler. Preceded in death by his parents. Survived by sister, Caroline Draksler, Johnstown. Was a member of the SNPJ and the NRA. He was an avid hunter. Gary enjoyed interacting with his family and friends. He was a kind and loving son and brother who will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his sister, Caroline. He was retired from Johnstown Wire Technologies, formerly the Bethlehem Steel Corp., with 45 years of service as a Wire Drawer. There will be no viewing for Gary, however family and friends are asked to attend Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Resurrection Parish, the Rev. George M. Gulash.  Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to either St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Mass offerings can be made in Gary’s memory.  Arrangements by Francis G.
