George P. Gaydos

GAYDOS – George P., 88, of Johnstown died August 4, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born February 21, 1930 in Johnstown the son of George B. and Anna (Antal) Gaydos. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Helen (Furnari) Gaydos; sisters; Dorothy Gaydos and Frances Sabo; and brother, Richard Gaydos. He is survived by his brother, Gerald Gaydos; step-children Andrew Intihar; Donna Gillin; and Albert Intihar and several nieces and nephews. A member of the former St. Stephen’s Catholic Church where he was a Eucharistic Minister; member of Nocturnal Adoration; and Axillary Legion of Mary. Currently a member of Resurrection Parish where funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Private committal. The family would like to thank the staff of LaurelWood Care Center, especially Jackie, Porkie and Kaylee, for the kind and loving care they gave to George during his stay with them.
