Helen A. Klonicki

KLONICKI - Helen A., 90; Johnstown, passed away December 31, 2018 at the Johnstown Presbyterian Home.  Born December 23, 1928 in Johnstown, daughter of Anthony and Catherine (Zomerfeld) Rabitz.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph Klonicki; sons, Randy in infancy, Ronald and Joseph Klonicki; sisters, Ruth Walzer, Margorie Young and Bernice Tabor; and brother, Stanley Rabitz. Last surviving member of her immediate family.  Survived by daughters-in-law, Sandra Klonicki and Carol Klonicki; grandchildren, Sara, Emily, Katie, Joey, Michael; and great grandchildren, Lucas and Jack.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and good friends, Rose, Nancy and Theresa.  A World War II veteran serving with the U.S. Women’s Army Corp.  She was an elevator operator at the former Penn Traffic Building. Retired at the age of 80, as secretary for the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. A member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Rev David S. Peles. Committal Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Broad Street.
