Joan A. (Johncola) Delusa

DELUSA – Joan A., 83, of Johnstown passed away peacefully at home on July 7, 2019. Born June 24, 1936, in Johnstown, daughter of Nunzio and Catherine (Caeti) Johncola. Preceded in death by her parents; son, Robert “Robbie”; and brothers and sisters. Survived by loving husband of 62 years, Robert Delusa; and children: Michael (Rhonda) Delusa; Mary Ann (John) Gornick; and Gina (Michael) Vitalie;  grandchildren: Joanna, Michael Mattison and Mattie Delusa; John Robert Gornick; Antonio (Maygan), and Giovanni Vitalie; and great-granddaughter Addalynn Vitalie. She was a loving wife, mother, Nana and Nunie who will be sadly missed by sister, brother, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and special family members too numerous to list. She loved to cook and to be in the kitchen. She was known famously for her homemade sauce and meatballs. Her biggest joy was her family and love for God. Friends and family will be received from 3-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 9th, 2019 at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street.  Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2019 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Franciscan Friars O.F.M. Conv. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
