HUDY – John, Sr. “Jack”, 79, of Brooklyn, Ohio, entered into Eternal Rest April 24, 2019. Born December 26, 1939, in Johnstown the son of John and Mary Magdaline (Kasterko) Hudy. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Paul Balaschak. Survived by his loving wife, Dorothy (Hegadus) Hudy; son, John, Jr., married to Adrienne (Battista) Hudy; he was a loving and generous grandfather to Tyler and Alana Hudy; and sister, Mary Lou (Balaschak) Mindyas. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, Jack retired from the Ford Motor Company with over 30 years of service and was an avid golfer. A member of St. Thomas More Parish, Brooklyn, Ohio 44144 where memorial donations can be made in memory of Jack. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street, where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will take place 10 a.m. Wednesday at Resurrection Parish, Fr. George Gulash. Committal at Grandview Cemetery.
