Karen M. (Sedlemyer) Lovrich

LOVRICH – Karen M., 59, of Johnstown died January 7, 2019, at Windber Hospice. Born February 12, 1959, in Johnstown the daughter of Vincent and Ethel (Rose) Sedlemyer. Preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Lovrich; son, Daniel V. (Nathan) Lovrich, Chicago, IL; and daughter, Lindsay Lovrich and boyfriend, Travis Painter, Hagerstown, MD. She is the sister of Vincent (Lisa) Sedlemyer, Nicktown, PA; Linda (Stephen) Matsko, Clarks Summit, PA; Sandi (Daniel) Ryan, Greensboro, PA; and Thomas Sedlemyer, Johnstown. She is also survived by her beloved cat, Emmie along with numerous nieces and nephews. Karen was a member of St. John Gualbert Cathedral; a volunteer at the Cambria County Humane Society; longtime member of the Forest Hills Community Band and Johnstown Reed Band. She will always be remembered for her positive attitude, strength and inspiration to others. Friends will be received from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, The Very Rev. James Crookston officiating. Committal will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donations be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Avenue, Windber, PA 15963, in memory of Karen.
