HOLBAY - Larry S., 67; Johnstown, passed away May 4, 2019 at Conemaugh Hospital. Born February 29, 1952 in Johnstown, son of Albert “Abe” and Leora (Rager) Holbay. Preceded in death by parents; and brother-in-law, John Pizzuto. Survived by loving wife, of 35 years, Beverly (Smith) Holbay; and son Joshua Holbay and wife Kayla, all of Johnstown. Also survived by sisters, Nancy Pizzuto, West Virginia; Barbara married to David Baker, Johnstown; brother, Richard Holbay and wife Lisa, Johnstown; brother-in-law, Fred Smith and wife Esther; nephew, Nathaniel Smith and wife Ashley; niece, Nicolet Pizzuto; and niece and Goddaughter, Ashley married to Brett Pribulsky; great nephew, Colton Smith; Step-nieces, Rhonda Baker and Leslie Kimmell; step-nephew, Dave Baker; step-great nieces, Lydia and Sadie Baker; and step-great nephew Cody Kimmell. Larry was retired from the Homer City Power Plant, with 30 years of service. A member of the St. Clair Road Tremont Club. He loved fishing, bowling and gardening. A member of Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, the Very Rev. Mark S. Begly V.F. Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery. Friends received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Broad Street.
