MIKULA - Louis, 92; Johnstown, passed away November 4, 2018 at Forest Hills Personal Care Center. Born April 27, 1926 in Johnstown, son of William F. and Anna (Mraz) Mikula. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, William, Francis, George, Charles, Joseph Mikula and sister, Rosemary Geisel. Last survivor of his immediate family. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. At the age of 18, Louis enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He served in World War II and the Korean War. Both times he was stationed aboard the USS Leary. After his discharge from active service, he served 5 years in the National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion and the V.F.W. Post 155. Retired maintenance worker for Hiram G. Andrews Center. Friends received Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held at Tuesday 11:15 a.m. at Resurrection Parish.
