Margaret I. (Peske) Lison

LISON – Margaret I, 91, of Waynesboro, formerly of Johnstown, died November 20, 2018 at Hearthstone Retirement Home, Waynesboro. Born February 16, 1927, in Echo, PA the daughter of Charles B. and Magdalena “Lena” (Bimeal) Peske, Sr. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bernard Lison; sister, Elizabeth Yeager; and brother, Charles Peske, Jr. Survived son; Martin, married to Karen (McCleaf), Waynesboro; and daughter, Margaret “Peggy”, wife of Donald Young, Monroeville; grandchildren: Paul Young; Robert Lison and Beth Lison; also survived by her brother, Thomas Peske, Sr., South Pasadena, FL. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Hearthstone Retirement Home and SpiriTrust Hospice for the kind and loving care they gave to Margaret. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at Visitation of the BVM Catholic Church, Fr. John J. Slovikovski officiating. Committal will be held at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggest that memorial contributions be made to either Hearthstone Retirement Home, 102 South Potomac Street, Waynesboro, PA 17268 or SpiriTrust Lutheran Home Care and Hospice, 2700 Luther Drive Chambersburg, PA 17202, in memory of Margaret.
