Margaret (Martinek) Pasierb

 PASIERB – Margaret, 87, of Johnstown, died October 13, 2019, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born April 21, 1932, in Johnstown the daughter of Andrew and Margaret (Lautenbacher) Martinek. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alex J. Pasierb; brothers, Andrew, John and Stephen Martinek; and sisters, Sister Margaret Alice Martinek, and Patricia Salas. Survived by sons: Michael Pasierb and his wife Sharon of Summerhill; and George Pasierb and his wife Carolyn of Fort Worth, TX; daughter: Jane Rodgers and her husband David of Adams Township and Alice Bode and her husband Robert of Chicago IL. Grandchildren: Michael (Kristen) Pasierb, Kimberly (Corey) Todaro, Lynne (Jordan) Roberts, Maria (Nathan) Russell; Kristin Engle, Pamela June (Steve Whitlinger), David Rodgers, Robert (Stephanie) Rodgers; Katelyn Pasierb; Andrew Pasierb; and Robert Bode III; 11 great-grandchildren and one on the way; brother, Edward (Barbara) Martinek; and sisters: Betty Ribblett; Mary Lorditch; and Tina Buksa.  Also survived by several nieces and nephews. She was a member of the former Ss Casimir and Emerich Catholic Church and currently a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. She was also a member of Polski Dom, Minersville PNA, CFU #5, and Slovak Band Hall. Margaret was a homemaker who was devoted to her family, enjoyed sitting on her back porch looking at her flowers,  and was an avid follower of current events. Friends will be received Thursday from 2-8  p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., where vigil will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Franciscan Friars OFM Conv. Committal will be held at St. Casimir Cemetery.
