Margaret "Margie" (George) Abrahams

ABRAHAM – Margaret “Margie”, 94 of Johnstown, died January 22, 2018, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center.  Born May 2, 1923, the daughter of Charles and Anna (Audi) George. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, James S. Abraham; son, David Abraham; brother, Richard S. George; nephew, Johnny George; and niece, Gail George.  She is survived by her daughter: Anna Marie, the wife of Edward “Ricky” Rovansek; grandchildren: James (Natalie) Rovansek; Marlena (Jake) Moore; Shane Rovansek and fiancée Stephanie; Aaron Abraham and James D. Abraham; great-grandchildren: Sara, Sadie, Brock, Zack, Cruz, and Rosalina; brothers: John, and wife, Dalal George; Charles, and wife, Joann George; sister-in-law, Dianne George; long-time caregiver, Brenda Dzambik; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Margie managed the Pyramids Lounge and Catering alongside her brother John since 1977.  Friends will be received Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at St. Mary Antiochian Orthodox Church, 111 Alberta Ave. where the Very Rev. Fr. Donald Shadid will hold Trisagion Prayers of Mercy at 7 p.m. Friends will also be received Friday from 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 10 a.m. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Mary Special Projects Fund, 111 Alberta Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15905.
