Martha Tokar

TOKAR - Martha 95; Johnstown, died November 29, 2018 at Laurelwood Care Center.  Born April 22, 1923 in Johnstown, daughter of Francis A. and Catherine (Malinak) Tokar Sr.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Francis Tokar Jr. and wife, Angela; and Leonard Tokar; and sisters, Eleanor and Josephine Tokar.  Martha was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Survived by sister-in-law, Elaine Tokar, Philadelphia, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.  Also survived by “special angel”, Beverly Majerski.  Martha was a Book Keeper for Olbum’s Furniture, The Flower Barn, and The Hello Shoppe. The family would like to thank, Senior Life for their care and compassion; and special thank-you to caregivers, Patricia Adams and Jennifer Adams.  Friends received Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, followed by funeral Mass at 10:00 at Resurrection Parish, 324 Chestnut Street, Fr. George M. Gulash officiating.
