Mary (Ruis) Ricchiuto

RICCHIUTO – Mary, 95, of Johnstown died May 24, 2018, at Country Manor Nursing Home, Jerome. Born November 18, 1922, in Meyersdale, the daughter of Michael and Rose (Angelo) Ruis. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Louis J. Ricchiuto; brothers: Ben, Pat and Joe Ruis and sister, Lina DiFrancesco. She is survived by her sons: Anthony (Susan), Joe, Michael, and Louis; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Nancy) Ruis; and sisters: Anita Senuta; and Helen Fratrick;. Mary was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church where she was a member of the Choir and Christian Mothers. She was an excellent seamstress, loved to cook, and was a great mother who had many wonderful friends who she loved. Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the FRANCIS G. OZOG FUNERAL HOME, In., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Friends will also be received from 9 a.m. until time of funeral Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, 536 Decker Avenue, Fr. Bernard Karmanocky, O.F.M.
