Mary A. Shertzer

SHERTZER—Mary A., 90; Johnstown, passed away December 10, 2019 at the Lutheran Home of Johnstown.  Born August 11, 1929 in Johnstown, daughter of Thomas and Mary (Lukac) Mandrgoc.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, J. Reed Shertzer; and she was the last surviving member, of 11 siblings, of the Mandrgoc family.  Survived by daughters, Marianne married to Blaine Leister, Pittsburgh; Janine Shertzer, Newton, MA; and Kim married to Larry Murdoch, Smithfield RI.  Also survived by grandchildren, Kyle, Emily, Lauren, Robert, Elizabeth, Zachary and Emma; and great grandchildren, Abigail and Eliza.  Retired Office Administrator.  Mary was a former volunteer at the The Lutheran Home of Johnstown.  She was a member of the Quota Club and a member of the former St. Rochus Catholic Church and Resurrection Parish.  Funeral Service will be held at The Lutheran Home of Johnstown on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Committal will take place at Grandview Mausoleum.  Arrangements in care of Francis G.
