Noreen Molchan

MOLCHAN - Noreen, 85; Johnstown, passed away at home, November 26, 2018.  Born July 25, 1933 in Johnstown, daughter of Daniel J. and Ethel C. (Blawn) Schrum.  Preceded in death by parents; son, Daniel Molchan; granddaughter, Stephanie; sisters, Eileen Schrum and Wilma “Pat” Kubanda and brothers, William Schrum, Hilary “Lad” Schrum, and Jean Schrum.  Survived by loving husband, of 63 years, Nicholas Molchan, Johnstown; and children, Coleen Molchan, Johnstown; Nicholas Molchan, South Bend, IN; Michelle Sanz (Javier), Syracuse, NY. Also survived by grandchildren, Michael (Angela), Nicole (Sean), Raymond (Lauren), Kathleen, Albert and Paula; and great granddaughter Lydia.  A sister of Don Joseph Schrum, Johnstown.  Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.  A member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, where Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, Rev. Msgr. Raymond Balta.  Committal will take place at Grandview Cemetery.  Friends received Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where Parastas will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Noreen’s name to Laurel Highlands Alzheimer’s Foundation 317 Power Street Johnstown, PA 15906 or to the Windber Hospice at 600 Somerset Ave. Windber, PA 15963.  Condolences may be sent at fgozogfuneralhome.com
