Robert L. Gehlmann

GEHLMANN - Robert L., 80; formerly of New Florence, PA; passed away peacefully in his sleep with his loving family by his side on Sunday, April 22, 2018 in Aurora, CO.  Born November 20, 1937 in Johnstown, PA.  Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Vivian (Sarver) Gehlmann; loving wife of 43 years, Charlotte (Pavlosky) Gehlmann; daughter, Tammy Gehlmann and sister, Mary C. Heming.  Survived by children, Robert Gehlmann Jr. of Aurora, CO; and Jeanette married to Michael Esser of Stafford, VA.  Also survived by grandchildren, Benjamin married to Kelsie Esser of Dumfries, VA; and Kiersten Esser of San Diego, CA.  A brother of Henry married to RuthAnn Gehlmann of Ashland, OR; and sister, Patricia Boring of Johnstown, PA.  Robert was a U.S. Army veteran. He loved hunting, fishing and playing golf. He also loved to watch the Steelers, Penguins and Pirates; and spending time with friends and family.  Private viewing for immediate family, followed by burial at Grandview Cemetery in Johnstown, PA at 12:00 p.m. Saturday April 28, 2018, where V.F.W.
