BAKER - Ronald Stephen, 66, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Preceded in death by parents Stephen and Mary Baker. Survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Kim, his children Aaron (fiancée Nicole Frick), Joy, Melanie (Chris) Beiler, Sara, grandchildren, Harold & Hannah Beiler, and sister & family, Gloria, Al, AJ, and Jon Prien. Ron was a faithful servant of Christ since he found Jesus in 1971. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, Poppy and friend. Known to many as “Brother Ron,” he served as a lay minister, active in ministry at OUMC, and was a surrogate father to the many young people he served as the Director of Operation Daybreak at New Day, Inc. for 28 years. He was a talented musician, artist, and a great home comedian, keeping his sense of humor and perfect comedic timing to the end. He is deeply missed by his loved ones, who celebrate that he is whole and complete, standing tall and worshipping his Lord and Savior. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at the Oakland United Methodist Church, 1504 Bedford Street, Pastor Randy Bain officiating.
