Shawn J. Adamy

ADAMY - Shawn Jason, 45; New Florence, passed away May 31, 2019.  Born August 30, 1973 in Johnstown, son of William Sr. and Joan (Bunk) Adamy.  Preceded in death by brother, Keenan Adamy. Survived by parents; brother, William Jr. and wife Patricia (Vargo), Johnstown; Suzanne and husband Kenny Duplechain, Pensacola, FL; Cordell Adamy, New Florence; and Annalee and husband, Ira Biss, Johnstown.  Also survived by nephews, William IV, James and Brycen.  Shawn was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School Class of 1993. He worked briefly for Toma United Metal Fabricators and Enviromental Tank, until his double hip replacement. He enjoyed living at the family farm and playing with his cats “Snigy” and “Charley”.  Shawn was a kind, caring person who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.  Friends received Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. at the Francis G.
