ROMAN (Drugo) – Sophie J., 89, of Armagh, died April 28, 2019, at home. Born August 15, 1929, in Johnstown the daughter of George S. and Katherine M. (Urbassik) Hritz. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Joseph A. Drugo, Sr.; grandson, Charles D. Montag; son-in-law, Henry W. “Buck: Montag; brothers: Thomas Hritz; George V. Hritz; and Walter P. Hritz; and sisters: Anna Cassick,; Pauline Miller; Gertrude Toth; Katherine Kormanik; Caroline Roman; and Dorothy Shellhammer. Survived by children: Sophie J. Montag, widow of Henry “Buck” Montag; Joseph A. Drugo, Jr., husband of Denise Aston; and Irene A. Ott, wife of Richard Ott with whom she resided; grandchildren: Scott J. Drugo and wife Nicholle; Melinda S. Montag; Daniel R. Ott and wife Kelly; Charlene A. Kuhn wife of Terry Kuhn; and step-grandson, Jason Aston; great-grandchildren: Lee Ann Kuhn; Madelyne Ott; Ellaina Drugo and Alexandra Drugo; step-great-grandchildren: Zachary Aston and Sydney Aston. Sister of: Emma DeAngelo; Mildred Nihoff; Richard Hritz; Alvin Hritz; and Phyllis Christ. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad St. where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will take place 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, Fr. Clarence Bridges. Committal will be held at Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to St. John Gualbert Cathedral in memory of Sophie.
