Stanley Gornick

GORNICK – Stanley, Jr. “Stush”, 76, of Johnstown, died March 21, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center, Born October 16, 1941, in Johnstown the son of Stanley and Laura (Thomas) Gornick, Sr. Preceded in death by his parents; and brother, John. Survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Joann (Daroczy) Gornick; sister, Patricia Lovejoy; and brother Ronald, married to the former Stephanie Scott. Also survived by his loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews who he greatly loved. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp where he was a crane man in the 11” mill. He loved working on cars and he had a contagious smile. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., Broad St. where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Committal will take place at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
