SLUSSER - Thomas L.,74; Cambria City, passed away November 3, 2019 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born June 9, 1945 in Blairsville, son of David C. and Lavina J. “Jean” (Palmer) Slusser. Preceded in death by parents; brother, David Slusser; and sister-in-law, Sylvia Slusser. Survived by loving wife, of 46 years, Judy (Kisha) Slusser; son, Thomas L. Slusser II, and his beloved grandson, Hagen Slusser. A brother of Robert Slusser, Bonnie married to Thomas Trigona Jr., Linda married to John “Pete” Cassidy; and Deborah married to Robert Trotz. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and in laws. Retired truck driver for Consolidated and Bittner Vending Companies. A member of the C.F.U Lodge#5, Slovak Band Hall, and numerous friends at the 5th Ave. Hotel. He was an early supporter of the Cambria City Ethnic Fest and Folk Festival. Later in life, he enjoyed spending time with his grandson Hagen. Friends received Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Broad Street, where Funeral Service will be held Wednesday evening at 7:00, the Rev. John D. Hollis. The family would like to thank 10th Floor Ashman, Good Sam Palliative Care, Hospice 365 and his “family” of care givers at Arbutus Park Manor West Wing, for all their exceptional loving care and support of Thomas.
