RUCINSKY – Adam, 96, of Johnstown, passed away on December 18, 2020, at Conemaugh Meyersdale Hospital. Born December 25, 1923, in Johnstown the son of Joseph and Mary (Cechura) Rucinsky. Preceded in death by his parents; wife Margaret “Molly” (Halushka) Rucinsky; son, Joseph Morris; daughter, Nancy Shaw; granddaughter, Patricia L. Sorber; and brothers: Theodore, Frank, John and Joseph Rucinsky; and sisters: Agnes Kopco; Catherine Balough, Sophia Virtue; and Helen Rucinsky . Survived by his children: George N., married to Florence (Siebert) Morris, Johnstown; and David Morris, Indiana, PA; and Mary M., married to Charles Sorber, Johnstown. Also survived by grandchildren: Kevin (Carla) Sorber; Nancy (Courtney) Marley; Jason Shaw; Emily (Javier) Soltero; Aimee Morris; David (Melinda) Morris; 5 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Edward Shaw; and daughter-in-law, Jeanne Morris. Adam was a US Army Veteran of WWII and former member of the Retired Men’s Club. He was a retired member of the Construction and General Laborers’ Local Union #910 where he was the former Secretary-Treasurer. Adam loved to watch the Pittsburgh Pirates, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and to play cards. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Private burial will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
