Agnes R. (Vindish) Sciullo

SCIULLO – Agnes R., 107, of Johnstown, died September 3, 2024, at Laurel View Village in Davidsville. Born June 22, 1917, in Johnstown, the daughter of Stephen and Mary (Sykora) Vindish. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Arthur Sciullo; son, Arnold Sciullo; and many siblings. Agnes is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews that she loved; and many friends and neighbors who kept her company and helped her throughout her life. Agnes worked as an Efficiency Manager at Penn Traffic where they manufactured airplane parts during WWII. Around the age of 50, Agnes took up oil painting and became very prolific at painting landscapes and still life. Friends will be received Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Franciscan Friars OFM Conv. Officiating. Committal will be held at St. Stephen’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Agnes by mass donations or to a charity of your choice.
