Amanda M. (Kirkwood) Miller

MILLER—Amanda M., 93; Johnstown, passed away March 7, 2020 at Laurelwood Care Center.  Born October 11, 1926 in Johnstown, daughter of John E. and Ellen E. (McKendree) Kirkwood.  Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Miller; brother, John Kirkwood; sisters, Dorothy King, Alice Kirkwood, Mary Catherine Petrick, Hazel Petry, and Bernice Smith.  She is the last survivor of her immediate family.  Survived by stepson, Tom Miller; and many nieces and nephews.  She was a proud caregiver to her family and loved doing things for her family, especially her nieces and nephews.  A lifelong member of the Trinity United Methodist Church and member of the Franklin Street United Methodist Church.  Friends received Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Diane Gobble officiating .  Committal will take place at Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Franklin Street Food Pantry care of the Franklin Street United Methodist Church in memory of Amanda Miller.
