Andrew "Deke" Zahurak

ZAHURAK - Andrew T. “Deke”, 68; Johnstown, passed away on April 14, 2025 at home.  Born July 4, 1956 in Johnstown, son of Ronald J. Sr. and Joanne E. (Reynolds) Zahurak.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by brothers, Daniel and wife, Mary Kay (Alwine); Ronald Zahurak Jr. and sister, Tammy A. Harrison and husband, Douglas, all of Johnstown. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Jodi Noon, Adam Zahurak, Jason Zahurak, Daniel Zahurak Jr., Ronald Zahurak III, and Katie Harrison; and great-nieces and great-nephews.  Retired employee for Freight Car America Corp., and former employee at Ace’s.  He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Friends received Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Francis G.
