BISCHOF – Anita S. (Cibrin), 67, was born in Johnstown, PA August 18, 1953, and passed away of breast cancer on January 2, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents, Stephen M. “Red” and Mary J. (Hrbal) Cibrin. Survived by her loving husband, Robert E. Bischof who she married February 8, 1975; daughter, Lisa, wife of Jason Krone and their children, Kaitlyn and Lauren, of Windber; son, Michael, married to Emily (Mikolic) Bischof, and their son, Sullivan, of Allison Park, PA; sister, Barbara, wife of Matthew Feist, Johnstown; and brother, Chris, married to Jean (White) Cibrin, Yorktown, VA. She is also survived by numerous family and friends. Anita was a graduate of Bishop McCort High School and a 1974 graduate of the Conemaugh School of Nursing. She retired from Memorial Medical Center with 36 years of service as a Registered Nurse. Anita enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her precious grandchildren Kaitlyn, Lauren, and Sullivan. She was their “Bubbee”. She loved to be near the beach. Anita was an avid Pittsburg Steeler and Penguins fan. She loved to laugh, having a good sense of humor with a quick wit. She asks you to remember a laugh or good time shared. Anita enjoyed meeting with her friends for lunch and a good fish sandwich. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend she will be missed by all. She always kept a positive attitude and said “things could be worse!” The family would like to thank Conemaugh Hospice for the exceptional care, especially Sherri, Carolyn, and Amy for their excellent work and compassion. Anita was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Moxham. Due to COVID restrictions, visitation will be private for the family, however family and friends are invited to a funeral Mass 1:30 p.m. Thursday St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, the Very Rev. James F.
