Anna (George) Kist

KIST – Anna M., 94, of Johnstown, died March 19, 2021 at The Lutheran Home of Johnstown. Born October 31, 1926, in Arlington, VA the daughter of William E. and Raphael (Poisal) George. Preceded in death by her parents; husband Leo A. Kist who was a Deacon with the Altoona-Johnstown Catholic Diocese; infant sister, Helen George; sister, Frances L. (George) Simmons; brothers, Norman George, and John George. She is survived by her daughter: Christine Robertson Carlin; sons, Gregory Edward Kist, Jeffrey Lee Kist, and Brian Anthony Kist; grandchildren: Michael Carlin, Sean Carlin, Graham Kist, Morgan Kist, and Blake Kist; and great-grandchildren: Shilo Carlin, Adrielle Carlin, Gavin Carlin, and Grayson Carlin.  Anna was a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Eldersburg, Maryland. There will be no visitation for Anna however, family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at St. Clement Catholic Church, Fr. William E. Rosenbaum.
