Anna Jean Sostek

SOSTEK – Anna Jean, 93, of Johnstown, died December 16, 2023. Born February 23, 1930, in Johnstown the daughter of Anthony and Caroline (Dzierwa) Sostek. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, William Sostek. Survived by godson, Leonard F. Jerva, Jr.; cousins, Leonard and wife Connie Jerva, Monticello, IN; Ronald, and wife, Mary Nashua, NH; Joseph Jerva, CA; Albert and wife Kathy, Arden, NC. Jean was a member of the former St. Casimir Catholic Church and currently a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, Brownstown. She retired from Penelec where she was a customer service clerk. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2023, St. Michael Catholic Church, Very Rev. Mark S. Begly, VF officiating. Committal will take place at St. Casimir Cemetery.
