Beatrice Brandon

Beatrice Brandon, 84, Woodbridge, VA, went to be with the Lord on November 19, 2025. Born on March 15, 1941, in Johnstown, PA, she is the daughter of Layton L. Brandon and Ruby L. Brandon (Willis). Preceded in death by parents, sister Geraldine (Gerry) Harris, brothers Layton L. Brandon, Jr., James D. Brandon, Larnell Brandon, daughter Darice R. Brandon and son Daniel E. Brandon.

She is survived by her loving siblings, Gwndolyn (Gwen) Herr and her husband Albert Herr of Harrisburg, PA, Lawrence Brandon of Johnstown, PA and brother-in-law Alexander (Alex) Harris of Chantilly, VA, daughters, Darlene, Denise and Delana Brandon; grandchildren, Chernetta, Rodia, Roberta and Denzel Brandon; great-granddaughters, Sariah Williams and Rylee Brandon; several nieces and nephews, extended family members and friends. Acknowledgement to Wendy Holland and Roberta Ragland, friends who also looked to BB as someone special in their lives.

Beatrice Brandon was a graduate of Greater Johnstown High School. She completed higher education by receiving a degree from attending University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. She earned a degree in nursing. When coming to Virginia, Beatrice worked for Manocare Health Services and Prince William Schools.

Friends will be received from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 29, 2025, for viewing at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, services will be held after the viewing. Dr. Darin Washington, Pastor (nephew) officiating.

Interment will be at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
