SEITZER – Bert Edward “Ed”., 75, of Johnstown, died May 23, 2023, at home. Born November 22, 1947, in Williamsport, PA son of David A. and Dolly (Kline) Seitzer. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Richard Seitzer. Survived by his wife of 28 years Jocelyn (Diehl) Seitzer; daughters, Yvonne Seitzer, Michelle Santacroce, Heather D’Angelo, Christina Santacroce, and Stephanie Vergot; grandchildren, Michael, Ava, Noah, Mason, Jason; and many friends. Ed served in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Germany and received the National Defense Service Medal. Ed enjoyed cooking, fishing at Lake Erie and remodeling. He was a handyman and enjoyed helping his family and friends with their own remodeling projects. The compassion he shared towards others was of true value as he was always ready to help anyone in need. Ed was also known for throwing over-the-top Halloween parties, which was his favorite holiday. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
