Carl Spishak

SPISHAK - Carl, 70; of Johnstown, passed away on March 30, 2026.  Born August 16, 1955 in Johnstown, son of George W. Spishak and Mildred (Tarsovich) Varner.  Preceded in death by parents; and brother, James G. Spishak.  Survived by loving wife, of 41 years, Janet (Chernay) Spishak of Johnstown; their sons, Ryan Spishak, (fiancée Krista Peteritis) and Luke Spishak, (loving girlfriend Michele); and granddaughter Hope Spishak.  A brother of Georgette Stephans.  Carl was a Water Lab Technician for the NRG Power Plant.  He was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman. He also enjoyed gardening. A member of the Tremont Trap and Field Club.  Family and friends are asked to attend Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at Resurrection Parish.  Committal will follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Resurrection Church in his memory, or to his family for memorial contributions.
