Carmen Alicia (Lee) Armendariz

ARMENDARIZ – Carmen Alicia, 83, died March 12, 2022, at home. Born May 4, 1938, in El Paso, TX the daughter of Charles Lee and Celia Ruiz Chavez.  She is survived by her daughters, Christe Armendariz; and Ida Alicia Armendariz; son, Humberto “Manuel” Armendariz; along with 8 grandchildren.  Carmen was a retired nurse working many years at the Hotel Dieu in El Paso, TX.  She will be remembered as a fantastic nurse who was friendly, sympathetic and offered her services to anyone that needed them.  Friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home, Inc., 710 Broad Street where vigil service will be held. Funeral Mass will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church, the Very Rev. Mark Begly, VF.  Inurnment will take place at a later date.
