Carol Fatula Obituary

FATULA - Carol Marie, 69; Brownstown Boro., passed away on November 3, 2020 at home.  Born November 2, 1951 in Johnstown, daughter of Emil J. and Helen M. (Droz) Farkas.  Preceded in death by mother Helen Farkas.  Survived by father, Emil Farkas; husband, David Fatula; and son, Paul Fatula; and daughter, Emily Stoykovich (Toby), all of Johnstown. Also survived by beloved granddaughter, Makenzie Jerin; and grandchildren, Carter Stoykovich, Austin Stoykovich, and Emmett Stoykovich and Chloe Fatula and Carly Fatula.    A sister of Kathy Farkas, and Karen Vigna (Len), both of Johnstown.  Carol was a retired LPN in the Obstetrics department of the former Mercy Hospital. Her love and compassion carried into her personal life as a foster mother for 15 additional children.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.  Friends received Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street where funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. William E. Rosenbaum.  Committal will follow at Grandview Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Carol M. Fatula.
