Catherine R. "Caddy" Leech

LEECH - Catherine R. "Caddy", 90; Johnstown, passed away at home on December 1, 2021. Born March 4, 1931 in Johnstown, daughter of Frank S. and Mary (Spisak) Fatula.  Preceded in death by parents; husband of 53 years, Edward J. Leech; daughter, Catherine; son, Edward; grandson, Corey Leech; sisters, Matilda Fatula and Josephine Rovan; brothers, Robert, William, Francis, George, Andrew “Pinto”, and Bernard Fatula.  She is survived by sons, Dennis and wife Jennifer (Melikant), Bernard and wife Cynthia (Majoris), Gary and wife Kelly (O’Donnell), all of Johnstown;  grandchildren, Courtney, Molly, B.J. (Stevi), Adam (Cali), Travis (Brandy), Joshua (Loren), Rhett, Christian, Drake, Jozef, Hunter, Brandon and Kaitlyn (Noah Henry) and great grandchildren, Jax and Maddox.  A sister of Theresa Toth and husband Alex, Sr. Cecilia Ann VSC, Joanna Klimeck and husband Richard, and Joseph Fatula and wife Dolores.  She was a member of TOPS Club 388, where she enjoyed meeting her friends. She loved gardening and planting beautiful flowers and roses with her grandchildren.  Catherine also loved cooking and made the best potato pancakes. Also a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church, where Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, the Rev. Bernard Karmanocky OFM. Committal will follow at St. Casimir Cemetery.  Friends received Sunday from 2 to 8pm at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. Broad Street. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Conemaugh Hospice, in her memory.  The family would like to thank Dr. Masser and Conemaugh Hospice care givers John and Jennifer, for all of their care and compassion.  Condolences may be sent at fgozogfuneralhome.com
