Charles A. Florina

FLORINA – Charles A., 60, of Johnstown, died January 12, 2022, at Memorial Medical Center.  Born January 27, 1961, in Johnstown the son of Anthony and Dolores (King) Florina.  Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Kristy Lee; sister Regina, Florina; and brother, Christopher Florina.  Survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Brenda (Riley) Florina of Johnstown; son, Marcus Florina, Johnstown; and sisters, Colleen and companion James Smith of Johnstown; and Dianne married to Mark Carroll of North Carolina.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  Charles was employed by Lichtenfels Nursery where he was a landscaping foreman. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and Pittsburgh Steelers Fan.  He was a kind and loving father, husband and brother who loved spending time with his family and will be missed by all who knew him.  Friends received Monday from 2-8 p.m., at the Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Gualbert Cathedral, Very Rev. Matthew B. Baum officiating. Committal will take place at St. Anthony Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations should be directed to the family.
