Charles W. Sorber Jr.

SORBER - Charles W. Jr. “Bill”, 84; Johnstown, passed away on October 13, 2022 at Meadow View Nursing Center.  Born May 25, 1938 in Johnstown, son of Charles Sr. and Sally (Long) Sorber.  Preceded in death by parents; daughter, Patricia Lynn Sorber; and sister, Susan Sorber.  Survived by loving wife, of 64 years, Mary M. (Morris) Sorber; and children, Kevin Patrick and wife Carla, and Nancy Lynn Marley and husband, Courtney. Also survived by granddaughter, Lauren Nicole Elchin (Nate); step grandson, Everett Courter (Shannen and baby Rose); great grandchildren, Sophie Elchin, Isabel Becerra and Alejandro Becerra.  A brother of Donna Cicciarelli and Fred Sorber.  Charles was retired painter for Bethlehem Steel Corp.  He enjoyed antique cars and car parts. He attended the car parts shows at Carlisle and Hershey every year.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by Francis G.
